A day trip to Hastings with one of Pavla's school friends - Monica. I was impressed with Pavla's ability to make friends with people and felt very sorry when she had to leave behind many of her friends when she left the Czech Republic to live here, as well as leaving her dog. Marie, too, was very brave and trusting to come as she couldn't understand or speak any English at all when we first met. |
