This is a close-up of a part of our back garden. Marie likes plants very much and the ground was all paved over by our landlord because it was easier to keep tidy. (don't blame him for that!) So we have many large pots and 'window' boxes that we bought from the pound shop and Lidl Supermarket. The one that these pansies are growing in was from a garden centre and, at the time, I thought it really expensive at more than £12.00. But now, because it's lasted so long and makes the nice colour on our paving slabs, we feel it was good value. Andrew |
