Marie is a very practical, earthy type of person and likes to take care of the garden. She's also very good at preparing food from the fruit and mushrooms growing in the open space behind these houses. I really like to see the garden when I come home. The fuschia grew from a cutting that I took just before I found out about Marie. It took more than a month to grow roots and almost got thrown out by the people that I was sharing a flat with at the time. I didn't know that fuschias grow so quickly or so big. We're now thinking of moving it to the back against the garage wall. Need to borrow a spade.   Andrew
