     The Council planted fruit trees in this open area between the line of terraced houses and the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines. We can hear the trains pooping in the night so I don't think that houses will be built for some time on this land.

   In this picture are apple trees and, to the right (off picture) is a pear tree. There are also mushrooms to be found in season - especially, according to Marie, after rain and a full moon! In the field to the left (also off picture) are many blackberry bushes. It's very nice to be able to see trees from our windows.
