Here is Erhardt Kurella with his Chinese born
wife, Carol, in their flat in Offenbach, Germany. Erhardt paints scenes
from his 'home town' in Northern Germany near the border with Denmark.
He tries to paint expressing his feelings in form and colour rather than
making a literal interpretation of what he sees. So his paintings are spontaneous
and, at first glance, seem to be a little rough. He started to paint almost
20 years ago out of a desire to find a means to express his feelings for
the creation. His work has a purity and strength of beauty and will bring
these qualities into the environment where his paintings are hung.
